It’s been 7 weeks since I began going to Weight Watchers and I’m happy to report that I’m down 12.6 lbs! I’ve had a loss each week that I’ve weighed in. I’m even noticing that I make the right food choices when eating at a restaurant without even really thinking about it. Here’s the best part, I put on a pair of pants this weekend that I haven’t fit into in 3 years!
After dropping my PC laptop for the second time, I broke the LCD. I looked at parts to fix it at first but then decided it may be the perfect time to convert to MacIntosh. And that’s just what I did yesterday…I’m loving it!
My latest home offer bit the dust yesterday. After dealing with the most obtuse seller in the history of real estate, I digressed. It started with her counter to my first offer. She only came off the price by a few dollars. Then she wouldn’t agree to the loan type I was using, which raised my payment over $100. Lastly, there were repairs that amounted about 3 grand…she offered $500 towards those. Now, I’ve sold a home before and there are things the buyer should be willing negotiate on. This seller would barely negotiate on anything. There were multiple other issues with this home but I was tired of fighting the battle.
I have a confession…I’m addicted to Pyramids. No, not the ones in Egypt, nor the ones in Mexico. I’m talking about that dang game on Yahoo! It’s running a close second place to myspacing these days.
Ok, now I’m totally paranoid. Special thanks to my friend Eric.
I went to see Jen Foster and Garrison Starr in concert last night. I’ve never seen either woman perform before and had only heard a few songs by Garrison Starr. Jen opened the show with her solo acoustic act and played for about 45 minutes. I wasn’t particularly wowed by Jen, but her song writing was right on. However, when Garrison took the stage I fell in love. At first, I was I impressed with her astounding vocal ability, but then I realized this women had a special stage presence. She owned the stage and completely consumed herself in each song. I love to watch a singer and you can see that the music is in them and must be released. Every chord and lyric came straight from her soul. I loved her so much that I bought her new CD.

I found a friends blog on myspace a few weeks ago about a dog that was lost in Birmingham, AL. The family has created a myspace to get more publicity and hopefully find their lost friend.
Please take a look, read the story, and add him as a friend. If any of you have pets then you know how dear to our hearts they are and what this family is going through.
